Technical and Licensing Assistant
The activities and duties related to the technical assistant's area include participating in the development of programs in the specialized areas of the organization based on upstream documents, the vision document, the law of the sixth and seventh political and socio-economic development plan of the country, the law of increasing agricultural productivity, and the law of the comprehensive system. This is achieved in cooperation with the deputy of health and prevention and the deputy of diagnosis and treatment of the country's veterinary organization.
Also, participating in holding provincial working groups under Article 2 of the Productivity Increase Law and Article 5 of the Comprehensive Livestock System, as well as other specialized working groups, and following up on the implementation of relevant programs are considered major duties of this field.
The objectives of this department include the following :
- Policy-making, planning, and monitoring the activities of provincial councils of the veterinary system in the field of Article 2 of the Law on Increasing Agricultural Productivity and Article 5 of the Comprehensive Animal Husbandry System, utilizing the knowledge and experience of expert experts.
- Assisting in the health and well-being of livestock and livestock products and improving the quality of the country's livestock products through monitoring the implementation of health rules and regulations issued by the National Veterinary Organization in the establishment and construction of livestock facilities and the implementation of health systems in the aforementioned facilities.
- Regulating professional relationships, providing services to livestock farmers, and helping to preserve the country's livestock capital by issuing licenses to establish pharmacies, clinics, hospitals, vaccination centers, and laboratories in accordance with the rules and regulations issued by the National Veterinary Organization.
- Developing a service network for operators and applicants for issuing/obtaining licenses and implementing e-government.
- Striving to provide better and more desirable services to improve the quality and increase the quantity of products of animal origin (ensuring the country's food security)
- Efforts to improve the job and professional conditions of veterinarians and para-veterinarians by participating in the development and dissemination of professional and technical guidelines in the field of practice.
- Defining occupational and professional standards for veterinarians
- Efforts to achieve the goals of the Ministry of Agricultural Jihad in ensuring food security and the interests of beneficiaries.
This deputy has two departments as follows:
- Issuance of licenses under Article 2 of the Law on Increasing Agricultural Productivity
- Issuing licenses under Article 5 of the Comprehensive Livestock Breeding System Law
