Dr. Abbas Ali Motlabi, the representative of the Minister of Agricultural Jihad in the Executive Council of the Veterinary System Organization, was appointed as the head of the Veterinary System Organization of the Islamic Republic of Iran upon the proposal of the Minister of Agricultural Jihad and the decree of the President. Dr. Motlabi, who is one of the founders of this organization, will hold this position for a four-year term.

According to the Public Relations Department of the Veterinary System Organization of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Dr. Motlabi holds a professional doctorate in veterinary medicine and a specialized doctorate in food hygiene and is a member of the faculty with the rank of professor 45. With 35 years of management experience in the Ministry of Agricultural Jihad, he has extensive experience in this field.

Dr. Motlabi's executive and managerial records include:

* Director General of Veterinary Medicine of West Azerbaijan Province
* Head of the West Azerbaijan Agricultural and Natural Resources Research Center *
Head of the National Veterinary Organization
* Deputy Director of the Agricultural Jihad Organization and Deputy Director of Livestock Affairs of West Azerbaijan Province
* Deputy Director and Deputy Director of Planning and Support of the Iranian Fisheries Organization
* Head of the National Fisheries Science Research Institute
* Full member of the Academy of Sciences of the Islamic Republic of Iran

Dr. Motlabi has also had significant activities in the scientific, research and technical fields, including writing and publishing more than 200 scientific articles, supervising more than 50 doctoral theses, writing more than 10 scientific books and registering more than 10 technical knowledge in the field of biological disease control.

Key projects for which Dr. Motlabi was responsible include the shrimp industry revitalization plan, the marine environmental pollutant control master plan, and the implementation of the HACCP system in Iranian fishery products.

During his tenure in various positions, Dr. Motlabi has achieved significant achievements, including placing Iran on the European Union's A-list, success in controlling infectious and economic diseases, strengthening private sector participation in veterinary medicine and treatment missions, obtaining the highest veterinary management status among countries in the world according to the International Organization for Veterinary Medicine (OIE), and planning for self-sufficiency in veterinary medicines and vaccines.

Dr. Motlabi has also won numerous awards and honors, including being awarded the title of Distinguished Director of the Ministry of Agricultural Jihad, Distinguished and Model Research Director of the Country, and Director of a Leading Research Institute.
