Central Council Meeting of the Veterinary Council Hosted by Razi Vaccine and Serum Research Institute

The meeting of the Central Council of the Veterinary System Organization of the Islamic Republic of Iran was held with the maximum attendance of members, this time hosted by the Razi Vaccine and Serum Research Institute.


According to the Public Relations Department of the Veterinary System Organization, this official meeting was held in the meeting hall of the Razi Institute with the presence of Dr. Abbas Ali Motlabi, Head of the Veterinary System Organization, Dr. Ali Eshaghi, Head of the Razi Institute, a group of the Institute's deputies, members of the Central Council, and other officials.


At the beginning of this program, the members of the Central Council, accompanied by the head of the institute and some of the deputies and managers, visited different departments of the institute. During this visit, the officials of each department provided explanations about the activities, technologies and capabilities of the institute in the field of producing various types of veterinary vaccines. The members of the Council were closely acquainted with the achievements, infrastructure and advanced technologies of the institute.


Subsequently, an official meeting of the Central Council was held. In this meeting, Dr. Eshaghi presented a comprehensive report, outlining points about the history of the establishment of the Razi Institute, its organizational structure, the duties stipulated in the statute, the areas of activity, the number of human resources, the status of the budget and credits, production lines, product sales, and the network of branches of the Institute in the provinces of the country. At the end of his speech, the members of the Central Council raised their questions and concerns, which were fully answered by the Institute's presidency.


Dr. Abbas Ali Motlabi, the head of the Veterinary System Organization, also expressed his gratitude for the sincere hosting of the Razi Institute and, referring to the history of joint cooperation, stated: "In previous meetings, it was agreed that joint interactions between the Veterinary System Organization and the Razi Institute would expand and that the two organizations would play a role as complementary arms in their assigned missions and responsibilities."
He added: "The Veterinary System Organization is trying to move towards improving the status of the veterinary profession in the country and provide a more effective role for the private sector in this field."


At the end of this meeting, a joint memorandum of understanding was signed to develop cooperation between the Veterinary System Organization and the Razi Institute. The areas of this memorandum included holding training, retraining, and innovation courses for veterinary graduates, as well as increasing specialized interactions in related fields.
