The International Affairs Department and Specialized Committees of the Iranian Veterinary Council continue to advance their mission of fostering international scientific exchange and professional development. In line with this objective, the Council recently hosted an online session with one of the world’s leading vaccine producers specializing in poultry adenoviruses.
The discussions focused on prevention and control strategies for adenovirus infections in poultry, which remain a significant global challenge. During the session, it was agreed that a distinguished expert from the company—who has worked for nearly three decades at the highest international levels in disease prevention and treatment—will soon deliver a specialized two-hour training course for Iranian veterinarians.
This initiative underscores the Council’s commitment to knowledge transfer, capacity-building, and strengthening international cooperation in the field of poultry health. It also reflects Iran’s growing engagement with leading scientific and industrial partners worldwide to address emerging and re-emerging animal health challenges.
